The "Tenebrae" gains its original inspiration from a beloved composition professor at Berklee. The Latin text is an extension from previous microtonal work but I wanted to use materials I had written previously but in equal temperament. So I decided to keep the themes in the text going of 'light, darkness, truth, blood, hands, deeds.' What emerges is an enchanting symmetry where the double duo unites in harmonic bliss.
